I've never had a practice with 13 guys before. (Cody was off doing rodeo in Oklahoma) And I've never had one like this, where the guys were really into it, working hard, but still having fun.
We did a speedy fielding drill, did some running to see who had the wheels, did some situational fielding and baserunning, did a relay drill, did some outfield practice, and played King of the Diamond. Very productive, and gave us coaches a good chance to see what we had, and let the kids know us a little better.
Weather is looking a little dicey for tomorrow. Hope we can get another one in.
